Global Insurance Broker Insight Week.
A 4-day immersive programme supporting social mobility by transforming how young people see insurance as a career
The client – a global professional services firm – was bringing in a significant new graduate cohort – talented, diverse and arriving with high expectations. The challenge was to create an induction that did justice to the scale and ambition of the organisation, while feeling genuinely personal to each new joiner. It needed to deliver on multiple levels at once: building culture and community, communicating the organisation's story, and equipping graduates with what they'd need to make an impact from day one.
We designed a 48-hour immersive induction experience built around the Mission Control concept – placing new joiners at the centre of a live, high-stakes operation that mirrored the complexity and pace of real client work. The experience combined brand storytelling, skills development and genuine peer connection in a format that felt nothing like a conventional onboarding event.

Participants were briefed into the mission and immediately placed in cross-functional teams, tasked with navigating a series of challenges that escalated in complexity throughout the 48 hours. Subject matter ranged from client strategy to operational delivery to ethical decision-making – all grounded in the organisation's real methodologies and values. The experience closed with a debrief and commitment-setting session that connected the mission back to participants' own careers.
The outstanding feedback we have had from every level proves we have achieved success
