A Harvard-backed psychometric diagnostic paired with an immersive two-day summit for 44 Vice Presidents
The client’s early-careers population was talented, ambitious and geographically spread. The challenge was to create an onboarding experience that did more than inform – it needed to build genuine connection, develop commercial awareness and equip new joiners with the confidence to contribute from day one. With participants coming from across the business, the programme also needed to reflect the breadth and specialism of what the business does.
We designed a four-day residential Insight Week that took participants on a journey from personal identity to commercial reality to professional practice. Rather than a series of standalone sessions, the week was structured as a cumulative experience – each day building on the last, with themes that returned and deepened as the week progressed.






The week opened with participants exploring their own identity, values and ways of working. Psychometric tools and facilitated reflection helped individuals understand what they bring to a team – and how that sits alongside others. The day created the psychological safety that the rest of the week would build on.
Day two opened up the commercial world of insurance. Participants rotated through market-facing sessions with senior specialists, getting under the skin of different product areas and client challenges. By the end of the day, they had a far richer picture of the industry they’d joined.
The third day moved into practice – how do you show up as a professional in a complex, relationship-driven business? Participants worked through a live aerospace insurance challenge at Lloyd’s of London, developing client-facing skills in a real and pressured environment.
The final day brought everything together. Participants reflected on what the week had revealed about themselves and their careers, set meaningful goals and made personal commitments. The week closed with a joint session with the client’s leaders – connecting the new-joiner cohort to the wider business and its future direction.
