The
challenge.

The client needed to build a culture of psychological safety across its regional leadership population – a group of 100+ leaders who were talented and experienced, but operating in an environment that had historically rewarded individual performance over collective openness. The challenge was to shift that dynamic: to give leaders the insight, the language and the personal commitment to lead more openly, and to create the conditions for their teams to do the same.

The
solution.

We designed My Domino Effect – a programme that placed psychological safety at the heart of leadership practice. The concept was simple but powerful: the behaviours leaders model create a ripple effect through their teams. Every element of the programme was built to make that connection felt, not just understood – combining personal reflection, peer challenge and practical tools to create genuine shifts in how leaders showed up.

The Experience

The
experience.

  • The centrepiece of the programme was an immersive leadership experience that put leaders inside the dynamic they were trying to create. Working in teams under pressure, participants experienced firsthand what psychological safety looks like – and what happens when it's absent. The debrief connected personal experience to leadership practice, surfacing both the patterns and the possibilities.
  • The Ignite event brought the full regional leadership cohort together to launch the programme and build shared momentum. High-energy and deliberately designed to feel different from a typical leadership conference, it established the language, the mindset and the collective commitment that the rest of the programme would build on.
  • A series of live and on-demand broadcasts extended the programme's reach and kept the energy alive between in-person sessions. Content ranged from expert input on psychological safety research to peer-led reflection on what was shifting in practice – giving leaders regular touchpoints that reinforced and deepened the learning.
